Dr Brian Lim

Dr. Lim is a local boy, born and raised on Oahu. He graduated from Hawaii Baptist Academy and studied psychology at Wheaton College and Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been licensed to practice psychology in Hawaii since 2005.

He has specialty training in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the integration of Christian issues (such as forgiveness and reconciliation) and emotional concerns. He also has strong interests in mood and anxiety disorders, couples/marital therapy, interpersonal communication, and stress and anger management.

As a Christian and as a clinical psychologist, he is passionate about seeing people grow in healing and freedom through encounters with truth and grace. He and his wife, Keri, and three daughters, Jessalyn (9), Michela (5), and Zoe (1) live in Kailua and attend New Hope Kailua, a recent church plant of New Hope Windward Christian Fellowship in Kaneohe and Harbor Church in Hawaii Kai, a recent church plant of Faith Baptist Church in Kailua.
