MEET JULIE ('ILIKEA)

‘Ilikea was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i. She graduated from UH Manoa with a BA in Hawaiian Language and received her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chaminade University. She is a Native Hawaiian licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor with NCC. 

 

 

‘Ilikea has experience helping individuals who have struggled with loss, grief, anxiety, shame, trauma, and relationship issues. Her theoretical orientation is based on client-centered, solution-focused, and strength-based therapy. Her passion is helping individuals find healing, peace, and growth through life transitions, obstacles, and challenges. She believes that we all have it within ourselves to overcome our toughest struggles and offers a safe space to help individuals realize their strengths, resiliency, and sense of self and purpose.
