MEET JON

Jon earned his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1999.  His practicum experience included working with anger management groups and providing behavioral health and psychoeducation to students in the public schools.

 

He returned to Hawai’i and worked with the Samaritan Counseling Center of Hawai’i until the end of May 2015.  As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Hawai’i since 2004, Jon has worked with couples and individuals on a number of issues including communication, financial issues, anxiety, and depression.   He has also continued to work with students of all ages and recently completed a 5 year stint providing school based behavioral health services to high school students in the Honolulu and Windward districts.

 

Currently Jon has office hours Tuesdays and Fridays and telehealth appointments the rest of the week, including Saturday morning.  Insurances accepted: HMSA. HMAA, UHA.
