MEET CRAIG

Craig was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating high school, he joined the military for a few years, where he traveled and made life-long friends. Craig then moved to Hawaii to work with at-risk youth and young adults with local organizations such as Surfing the Nations, Young Life, the Boys and Girls club, and Kinohi Loa on O`ahu and Molokai. Seeing the challenges this age group faces, led him to further his education and understand more about the mental health issues youth may experience.
Craig graduated from Pacific Rim Christian University with a bachelors in Counseling, and Chaminade University with a Masters of Science in Counseling and Psychology, with an emphasis on Mental Health. During his time at Chaminade, he interned as a school counselor at Christian Academy, where he provided therapy for elementary through high school students. During this time, he worked with students experiencing social anxiety, emotional regulation issues, and behavioral challenges. Craig employes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Play Therapy in helping students. He enjoys working with students and providing them a space to express themselves, understand themselves and their situation.
Craig’s mission is to be present in understanding the misunderstood and to teach children ways to express themselves that promote strong relationships. Craig is pre-licensed and is accruing hours toward licensure. He has a $50 cash fee/session. To make an appointment, please call our office at 808-387-4355
