MEET LISA

Lisa M. Barr, LMHC is originally from Los Angeles, California. She obtained her B.A. in
Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles in 1991 and
received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from
Capella University (CACREP accreditation), in 2020. Lisa has her Bilingual, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish, and is currently obtaining EMDR certification.

Lisa has practiced at Palekana Inpatient Program working with dual diagnosis/SMI (severely mentally ill) population. She also has experience working with Day Treatment patients at Care Hawaii.

Lisa and her husband moved to Hawaii in 1997 and raised their three daughters here. The family lives on the windward side with their two dwarf bunnies.
