MEET LISA

Lisa M. Barr, LMHC, is originally from Los Angeles, California. She obtained her B.A. in
Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, in 1991 and
received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from
Capella University (CACREP-accredited), in 2020. Lisa is currently working towards EMDR certification.

Lisa has practiced at Palekana Inpatient Program and Care Hawaii, working with Day Treatment clients. In private practice, Lisa utilizes various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, IFS, and DBT.

Lisa and her husband moved to Hawaii in 1997 and raised their three daughters here. The family lives on the windward side with their mischievous black cat.
