MEET ROBSON

Robson was born and raised in Wahiawa, Hawai’i. He graduated from ‘Iolani School and obtained his BA degree in Economics from Loyola Marymount University, which led to a career in insurance for 10+ years. In his spare time, Robson enjoys playing golf, working out, and playing music, for which he was a worship leader for several years. Robson obtained his MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine in 2023. Robson is a pre-licensed mental health counselor, a National Certified Counselor with the NCC, and is level 2 certified in Gottman Therapy (Couples Counseling). Robson has previous experience working with individuals dealing with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, and difficulties with adjustment/transition. Robson has received training in the Townsend Model under Christian psychologist Dr. John Townsend. In addition, he has a foundation in incorporating a multidimensional, psychodynamic, and client-centered approach. Robson believes in empathetically understanding the uniqueness of each person for who they are and honoring their story, while empowering them to restore, heal, and improve the quality of their lives.

As a pre-licensed counselor, Robson is accruing hours toward licensure.  As he is unable to work with insurance at this time, he has a reduced out of pocket fee of $50/session.  Robson will have office hours on Mondays and Fridays, starting February 1st and online appointments the rest of the week.  To schedule an appointment, please call our office at 808-387-4355 or email paradigmhawaii@gmail.com.  Thank you!
